Here's what you want: BS in Computer Science. That will include programming, math, networking, the like. If you are more interested in database management, then look at a BS in Computer Information Systems. Both should be offered at all state schools near you. Get either and you're good.
You do not want to get an associates degree in computer programming. The only thing you should use the community college for if you so choose is getting general education requirements out of the way.
Once you get closer to senior year, go and visit the colleges near you on a campus visit day and try to talk to someone who is likely from the the School of Engineering and Technology. That's how it is setup at Bradley. The CS majors are part of the college of EET. This person you talk to will be able to tell you all about what you will learn, what kind of courses you will take, what will be required of you and what kind of employment you will find later in life.

Ssnipe you need to understand all of that to be a competent computer programmer. Just trust me, Computer Science degree is what you want. If you can make it through that you will be a decent programmer, know a lot more about computers, and have great earning potential.

not saying i wont but i heard a few places the more experience u got more u can make and if i work on AS degree THEN transfer to the university for my BS for it when i done and graduate and get al my certificate i can get better job with better pay

You have to stop focusing so much on the money. I've seen a lot of people go into programs like Law, and IT (Information Technology) thinking they'll come out with a high paying job, and ending up very disappointed.

Go do something you like. Even if you do earn a lot, the thing you won't be able to buy is a job you like, and that sounds like a rather important thing to me. Also, if you don't like what you do, I doubt you'll get that good at it, and you probably won't get that much money either, or have trouble finding a decent job.
You should really inform about the university and courses you will take. If you think it is interesting and think you are willing to learn more about it, then go for it.
If you want good advice on this though, ask someone who knows you well and got a BSc, MSc or such. They will be be able to give you much better advice then we can.

well like iv said above my dad has a new friend who he says hes a computer programming and makes lot of money so im try to talk to him to see what he got and what he did show him the classes form diffrent schools and see whats better along with which school is better

The intro C++ class I took my first semester was designed for people who had NO programming experience. I went in only knowing how to program a TI-83 calculator, a programming language no where near as complex as C++, but I still found it to be incredibly easy. (would have gotten a solid A if I hadn't bombed the final. 32's hurt.)
If you get into the Computer Science program, chances are one of your first classes will be an intro programming class with C++. So knowing that, don't do any more than buying a $20 or less book if you want a jump on the class.
Also, I agree with everyone else.
Stop focusing on how much money you will make. Do not set your goals based on how much you wanna make. If I did that, I'd never reach my goal seeing as I wanna be a billionaire. (who wouldn't?)
Especially today with everything switching over to computers and new computer technology coming out like improved AI for example, programmers and computer engineers will always be in demand, therefore, you will end up getting some good amount of money (assuming you make it through the whole degree program and get hired).

well i do care about the money and can care less about if anyone tells me to worried im sure i wanna do this not trying to be ruse i wanna do what i wanna do as a job jsut make sure i do it right to get the right amount of money....and i already plan on buying 3 or 4 c++ books but other then that does it sound right on what i typed that im do?
