was patching cp2 again only now i geted an eror while patching it says:
if you experience problems whit renegade (e.g. renegade wont start,
always.dbs missing, wrong language), make a note of what this program says and report it to blackhandstudios .
language ID = 0
English detected
removing old always.dbf
error 2
and im getting black screen the whole time when i start renegade

Black screen is because you tried installing core patch 2 after installing scripts 3 usually.
It will save you and us a lot of hustle if you just reinstall following this guide.
You'll have to manually install the cp's, as explained in there as the renguard update doesn't really work well anymore.

Are you sure you installed patch 1.037 first? If you have Vista, are you running everything in admin mode?
Why do you install CP1 if you can install CP2 who has CP1 included?

i got C&C teh first decade i dident have to instal the patch 1.037 and ive got windows xp
and hwne i start installing cp2 it says:
old file nto found. however, a file of teh same name was found. no update done since file contents do not match
and im running patcher whit the CP2.RTP
its not getting better  and im gettin more angry and crazy because im already busy whit it maybe 1 week
