Get someone to burn the install files on a CD for you, and send them to you half way across the country. That's what SomeRhino did for me.

I'm currently running an ISO rip of Renegade via CloneCD and Daemon Tools, and it works perfectly fine. I'm not running dj's no-cd crack because it screwed up my installation and I had to reinstall.

I made a virtual image of my game CD and currently use that... less work for my CD-ROM since I play it so often... I run the virtual image with VirtualDrive.
