For the vista users....when you click control panel....then administrative tools.....then services.....which cones can i disable? so hopefully my pc can speed up a little like which ones are the ones that make the pc work...the rest i really dont want but not sure which ones i can turn off...would anyone happen to know?

Disabling Windows Services. There are many useful results in there. You could save yourself the trouble and pain of waiting for a reply by searching on Google yourself. Services have not changed much from XP to Vista, but I'm not going into detail, because you can find details by searching as well. You should know better by now!

i dont trust shit on google all the time...i rather hear if anyone else here knows or has done it..i dont wanna fuck up my pc since i have no backup.....if i try dave what should i google? im not good with google

It depends on what software you have installed, because you may have software that uses services that it needs to run. You really aren't going to gain any performance from disabling Microsoft services. Useless user services drain performance, and at startup user startup items.

well pc is slow i dont do much basically......watch vidoes...go play games and go online...maybe some shit like photoshop...and others but thats about it i dont need much i tried google but not coming up with much

No, ReadyBoost relies on the flash properties of the memory card to speed up your PC by using it as a cache for pre-loaded files and such. Loading these onto an external USB hard drive would give similar or worse performance then loading them directly from the internal hard drive, and as such would be utterly pointless.
Also, as a side note, ReadyBoost only works on sticks with at least 512mb of memory, so older sticks with smaller capacities are no use.

ReadyBoost also causes problems with some applications. Its not fast enough to perform memory intensive operations, like that of some video games. You could experience no problems at all, but you will most likely experience system lock-ups, and other horrendous effects.
