I cant play renegade on vista. Help [message #342653]

Recruit

I just installed it.
Updated it.

N its not running on vista.

I try to run as adminstartive.

Any suggestion?

Read the FAQ: http://www.renegadeforums.com/index.php?t=msg&th=25765&start=0&rid=2 1525 2nd last, you have to run it in Windows XP SP2 compatibility mode also, if that doesn't work try the other solution there.

Nope that didnt help.

N it doesnt giive me an error number.

It just says Rnegade has stopped werking.

N dhen it searching for a solution.

HELP!

Is this the The First Decade(TFD) version of Renegade or the stand-alone version?

You could try reinstalling other than that I don't really know try looking in the "Renegade Client" section and you might find a topic that has the same problem with a solution.

Yes you can run RG with RR if that is what you were asking.

no you cant. according to yrr you cannot run renguard with resurrection.

that was why i had to delete RR.

try doing the compatibility thing for running it in win xp.

then right click on game.exe and pick run as administrator...

dont go to options, this option is under "open" or "run"

RR's launcher is not compatible to RG. If you disable the launcher, RR will run fine.
I don't care about that incompatibility because RenGuard is going to be shut down anyway...
