So who here plays it? If so whats your Guild Wars nickname so us cool guys who play it can add each other to the GW friends list.

My characters are a Assassin/Warrior and Warrior/Ranger

Assassin has lvl20 with lvl 70 armour with custom upgrades, Gold daggers with upgrades and some sexy skills.

Warrior is lvl 13 with a custom Bow with upgrades, lvl 25 armour with no upgrades (need more money and crafting materials for armour), some decent skills.

also no flaming, Guild wars is mucho better than WoW.

I've been playing Guild Wars since it was released, but I haven't played it much lately because of work and whatnot. Maybe once I get it installed again I'll hit you up sometime.

Most definitely, If we can find a good TS server me and my friend Xaoc and you can go 'cause some mayhem.

Just finished the Nahqui Quarters mission (Were you gotta' kill four stars) damn is that a hard mission, now all the Jade Warriors that roam in the area are like 50% more powerful than me so I keep getting my ass reamed. lol

I made a Ritualist and Necromancer (Because in some mission a Rituilist was dominating masses of NPC's before dying) but that plan failed hard when I kept dying and getting -60 moral lol.

Made a Warrior / Monk though when I get past the Nahpui quarters mission i might change my secondary profession to Necromancer for the fact that I can raise the dead and have a big army. woop!

Hurry up and Install Guild Wars again Dave!

*Bump*

I'm appalled at this community, No Guild Wars players apart from me and Dave?!

I am, quite frankly, shocked.

I bought the game, installed it, created a character that started at level 20, and declared myself done. Well, actually it took me a few hours to realize the game was horrifically dull then declared myself done.

I wouldn't really call me a Guild Wars player though, as I only play it ocassionally. After having the game for several years and beating all the expansions, its pretty dull.

As for you cmatt, you simply tried PvP, which in my opinion is stupid.

PvP is probably the only thing I didn't do. Most of my time was spent wandering around trying to see what I could do in the game.

Yeah next time create a Roleplaying character, you get story 'n shit and start at lvl 1.

There is lots to do, much to learn.

i got GW when it first came out, but was pissed to know that there is a level cap at lvl 20... i got there in like 2 days of playing. never tried pvp. i guess im just not able to get into it. i will not try it again simply because i find these games boring, and i cant justify spending more time on it.

i know some people that used to come to these forums that do play GW on a semi regular basis. but again they dont come to these forums anymore.

I like it, means you can progress with the story and PvE or Pvp with the apposing faction faster (if you have GW Factions you can do Alliance battles were two teams fight each other) and you stand a good fucking chance in a PvP match knowing someone isn't 10 lvl's ahead of you with more HP and stuff.

at first I thought I wouldn't like it but over the past few days me and a few guild members keep doing alliance battles and PvP battles, though my skills suck at the moment so i keep dying.

but seriously - It's great, you can customize armour and weapons to suit your class, and it's really interesting - If you use the right combo's you can stand a good chance, heck sometimes people who are like 5 levels ahead of you can be defeated.

I have had GW since the week it was released, but stopped playing it after a few months because I simply didn't have time. I have started playing it again recently though, so maybe I will see you online sometime.

My main character I am using at the moment is a lv13 W/Mo, currently in Yak's Bend (Yeah, I always take AGES to finish these types of games, I prefer to plod along at my own slow pace... I must be the only person to have spent almost 100hrs on GW and still never finished it! xD ). Character name: Jang Hammerfist

All my characters are PvE and I only have original GW, none of the expansions.

EDIT: And yes, GW > WoW.
