Hi
A friend of mine recently got renegade for the first time ever.
And after he got it installed and ready to go. He wanted to play a private game so i could show him the ropes.
So we both found a small empty server and joined it and i started explaining. And while i was explaining someone joined and started attacking.
After the match was over we both left the server and decided to host a game of our own.
When either of us hosts a game for the first time the other can get in through join buddy. But after that when we look at the buddy list it reads the other is in a chat channel and refuses to let us join the other. Sometimes it just wont let us create at all and reads failed to create channel.
After all that we decided to try a lan game with Hamachi but that wasn't working either. We could see the others game when they were created and highlight them. But when you hit join nothing happens at all.
Oh sorry both online and lan, Run Dedicated server was UN-CHECKED so that wasn't it.
All we want to do is host a game with the two of us so i can show him the ins and outs of the game. How can we do this with what i have told you???
