I recently got a new microphone and used it and it worked fine. Now it has this stupid echo thing and this annoying screeching whenever I use it.

What happened!?

Ignore j4s. He is just a smartass. That isnt very smart.

Anyway I think I know what the problem is. For one. The TS local voice testing module is screwed up. So if you hear it thats not what other people hear. I asked around and they said I came through super clear. Of course I had to turn off all my crap running in the background first. Wink

You know. Fan and air conditioner. It is very hot were I live

Also if that doesnt work. And there is still screeching.

Go to your accesories folder, Go to Entertainment folder, Open volume control, Click properties under the options tab. Check the box that says microphone.

A microphone volume panel should pop up with all the others, Then check the box that says mute. Dont worry as it only disables windows from receiving mic feedback. Teamspeak can still receive your voice even though it is muted on volume control.

Hope that helps
