How do you get on servers that the non-standard maps? Do you have to download them? And if so, from where?

You have to download them, and I recommend Game-maps.net

If you know the website link of the server you want to play on, you'll normally find the maps on their website. You can also download the maps one by one from game-maps.net for exemple but then you need a list of maps to download.
