Okay, I promised myself I wouldn't, but it looks like I'm a hypocrite.

These are not in order of most hated, but 5 things I hate are:

1. People who claim to know something when they really have no clue.

2. People who claim something is so perfect that it must be that way or be nothing. (nothing can be that perfect, so I refer you to number 1 on the list... because you fall in to that category)

3. People who try to argue by constantly and purposefullyignoring the important questions and keep arguing with you about the minor stuff.

4. People who think happiness trumps everything.

5. People who rely exclusively on logic to dictate what they should follow.

I fully support using logic for politics. Emotions are far too unstable and irrational for politics. You end up with people thinking the government should take care of things it shouldn't/can't (ie. poverty and morality).

whoa.

Oh, I'm not saying that logic shouldn't be used... just not to be relied on exclusively.

Proper "Logic" can be flawed but still never be wrong. If you were to rely exclusively on logic, you would follow it because, despite a particular argument being flawed, it is still right and can not be defeated by any counter arguments.

The movie "I Robot" displays this nicely. The main issue was not that the logic of the main enemy was wrong (it was proper and sound), just that it was flawed.

Heh, I'm not using it as part of the discussion. It's simply an accurate example to show what I mean about the risks associated with following logic exclusively.

Alberta recently switched to 10-digit dialing because of our population.

My new hatred is the amount of complaining about this that I now here. Get over it people!

I hate america only because:

They pay for their healthcare.
Their "welfare" system is almost non-existent for the less fortunate.
They invade other countries over bullshit excuses.

And: Their so called evidence is a bunch of higher up's with their "word".

Idiots that want to import other healthcare systems from Europe, when they are having massive problems paying for it.

Idiots like Obama that don't answer any questions (he thinks they are unimportant, you know what Obama? GET THE FUCK OVER IT!).

CNN, CBS, NBC, stuff like that.

People that aren't somewhat socially consicious.

Democrats for trying to keep the black population under their control by welfare.

If you're a rich mean lady, yeah.

If your some poor kid with leukemia who's parents have no money, but work 4 jobs, raise the money and find out they now need to pay more because their son doesn't have health insurance.

a few months later the kid dies, privatized health care what now?

more like privatized execution.

And your healthcare is any better? From what I've heard you people are havin major problems paying for your own healthcare. It is failing. Sure, everyone has free healthcare, but its useless with 50 people lining the doors for an operation. The Canadian healthcare system is a perfect example of what Europe is going through as well.

The Canadian health care system is great. I've never seen a '50-person line-up'. I've never had an excruciatingly long-wait. When I snapped my arm I had a 20-minute long wait, before I got it all fixed up. You should come down to Canada and see that not everything you see on the television is the gospel truth Big Grin . I could compile an excruciatingly long list of the pros and cons of Canada's health care system, but It's an argument that's been done over and over.

EDIT: Just read more of your post
50 person line-up for an operation lmao yeah, that's so true Sarcasm

ugh, Dunno were you're getting your facts from but the problem is that because Britain is on a anti-smoking campaign, the tax from cigarettes goes towards the NHS (National Healthcare System) and 40,000 people have quit smoking, That means alot of tax isn't going towards the NHS meaning no funds.

That's it.

Our health care system is fine - My mother has been treated for Cancer, surgery, Chemotherapy, the works and is now fine.

I've had a operation on my foot to get rust from a nail out of my foot, If I didn't get that operation I'd be dead now due to blood poisoning.

Both operations and treatment was free.

But we're both alive and kicking - Our health care system is fine - America's is in question, though.

Send the child to a children's hospital, then. That's where I donate my money to, anyway.

The problem with universal healthcare is that I don't necessarily benefit from the money I spend. Sure, that makes me a selfish bastard for wanting to benefit from what money I pay out, but it's my money, and if I want to benefit from it, then I should be able to.

No system is perfect, but there is a lot of good that comes from privatized healthcare. You see people flying to America for medical care. Why? Because we have innovation and technology achievable because of Capitalism. Sure, it only affirms that people are greedy, but it works.

I've noticed a huge difference between me and people who want a universalized health system. I don't spend other people's money because of my convictions. I think it's horrible that people have to suffer, but I see the consequences of playing to my emotions. I not only encourage my government to steal from my fellow Americans, but I allow for technology to slow down because there's no achievable capital gain. Sorry my political views aren't more Utilitarian.

Sorry, but I choose quality over quantity.

whoa.
