I seen a topic on this already but it didnt help.

I install and get the system file error. My disc is fine and so is my drive. this cd has worked for me before but now I cant get the friggin thing to work.

Its a normal cd, not tfd and its xp not vista. I tried running as admin in all the diff compatibility modes and still nothing. Is there a file, pacth or fix somewhere?

Which error do you mean, a screenshot would help.

A File system error has been detected. Please ensure that the renegade cd-rom is in the drive.

That would mean that something is wrong with the disk, even if the disk doesn't look damaged it still could be, does it work on another computer?

Then possibly it could be a drive issue but yes I know you have said it works fine but usually that error comes up either if the CD is damaged or the drive is damaged so it must be either.
