my cousins were staying over and i let one play renegade while i was gone. later when i came back and tried to play online, it said i couldnt play and there were no servers on the list. i later realised my cousin downloaded some file and put it in my data directory. he put in some kind of damage hack Angry

.... so he is back home(at his house) and i will make sure not to leave him alone with my computer. but can i get unbanned because this wasnt really my fault. will my ip be blocked forever????

Uh hi yea I also got banned I left my cat home with my computer and she downloaded the radar hack and hacked all the servers.

Wow, now I wouldn't normally agree.., but that really is quite a lame excuse. Neutral

I think I have been banned from every server on the WOL/XSWIS list. Look at me, I come back a year later and everything is forgotten.

I did buy 6 copies of the game for £10 (3 for £5 FTW).

Down to my last two CD keys, not gonna cheat on them cause I don't want to have to buy more.

Best way I know to get unbanned is to send $20-30 to Crimsons house.

I have her P.O. Box address somewhere around here, lol.

No. If he's banned from a specific server, then he needs to plead his case there.

If he's banned from the Renguard network, he needs to pay $30 to Crimson / BHS

It looks like he was banned, from XWIS, so maybe www.strike-team.net

Renguard is a wonderful initiative

Here's the most common thing about "the damage hack in your datafolder"...

It causes "The 0 Bug", this removes the server listing from your client as a clientside "counterattack" to people who do this.

Fix:

Remove "Objects.ddb" from your "C:\Westwood\Renegade\Data\.." folder and restart Renegade. The list should return.

Else, contact Strike-Team and tell them your story.

Oh, and by the way, ignore all these faggots who laughing at you and not helping the cause.

PS: What you, or anyone else does with YOUR account is YOUR responsibility, no-one elses, so don't throw blame around for something YOU and YOU alone have control over. (being your accounts usage)

You need to donate $30 to those who are responsible for Renguard. Not sure if they accept the donation to unban you these days...but if you do donate it sure wont go towards further development of the software...lol
