Heh, 9 months the way the USA drills for oil...

You guys really need to reevaluate how its done down there.

I don't know where my Oil and Gas Law instructor found the picture, but it was of a building in the US that was wall-to-wall pumping stations. This means that all the oil is drilled quickly, with stuff left behind in the well.

Meanwhile up here in Canada we are limited to 1 well per section (or is it quarter section?) of land. This means that the wells last longer, and more total oil is pumped.
