Can someone give me a hand with DreamSpark? I'm ordering a new laptop and would like to run Windows Server 2008 on it as the OS. I know people were saying you can get it for free from dreamspark but I'm not seeing it on their downloads list. Any info here?

Maybe look into what you're talking about before citing rules that don't apply.

Unfortunately, it looks like they only provide Server 2003.

There's a reason you aren't a moderator. Stop acting like one.

One of the Dreamspark staff members just made an announcement the other day that they will be releasing Windows Server 2008 for free this fall! Sounds like they're waiting for the next semester to start. So for now I will just be using the free trial from Microsoft(240 day trial) and when dreamspark gets it up I will just use the CD key.

Wait what the fuck? Since when have I EVER said i was a moderator, was ever thought to be a moderator, or even considered to be part of the moderating team?

I was nominated by two people a good year or so ago for moderatorship, but that was it, so you need to get your fucking facts straight before you start ramming me.

So i speed read the topic? The main parts i saw was you were trying to get software you have to pay for, for free. Yes, i don't know about Dreamspark, per se, but still...
