Okay, so troop has something right in his assumptions about me. I do still live with my parents. The truth is, I'm actually 45 (born April 30, 1963), and I've only moved into my parents' house because I was laid off about 2 years ago with the economy being so crappy, I just haven't been able to find a job.
I've only had one girlfriend back in high school, but that didn't lead very far. I've been too busy with school and my career to have any relationships, and nobody wants to date a 45 year-old living at home again. Though, my luck might change as I've been recently questioning my sexuality, and I might be bisexual.
I play Renegade way too much still, now that I have no job. I use several different names, so nobody catches wind of who I really am. I use RenGuard, so I'm sure Crimson can confirm this by matching the IPs that I post on here with.
I will admit to spending way too much time on these forums, but I really feel like I'm at home when I can just post for hours on end. I can't afford to go out with any friends, so you guys have become my surrogate friends. Not that I was really ever able to make any friends while I had a job. I've always been incapable of conversation with anybody. I just don't like people, in real life, that much.
I guess that's all I can think of for now.
whoa.

I still think you're pretty a pretty awesome guy. It's also really cool when someone can say that stuff like that (provided you're not simply making it up to trollbait troop) because not many people in that situation would have that kind of self confidence.
yeah

Presence is a curious thing, if you think you need to prove it... you probably never had it in the first place.

cheesesoda wrote on Tue, 10 June 2008 15:55 | Thanks. I don't usually go for Brits, but there's a first for everything.
Experimental really isn't my thing. I stick with gritty rock like Stoner Rock and Stoner Metal. Those are my favorites, atm.
|
try listening to King James, Gory Head Stump 2006 The Pageant of the Slunks or Soothsayer by Buckethea while stoned, and like, try and focus on the song, nothing else, i'll tell you, a++ experiance, real groovy stuff.
same here for you Yanks but like you say, first time for everything!

cheesesoda wrote on Tue, 10 June 2008 16:03 | I don't smoke pot, but I wonder if the experience is anything similar while being drunk.
You really should try to listen to some stoner rock like Dozer, Halfway to Gone, Clutch, Fireball Ministry, and Shame Club.
|
it's different, don't smoke pot thinking you're going to be paranoid and stuff, it makes everything more funny, and makes music sound so much better.
beer is good too, I love a good lager!
I seen you posted a few of them songs on Pownce, i'll probably look into them on youtube and buy a album or two.

For whatever reason, I still have a hard time letting myself do illegal drugs, though I'm willing to do harder drugs like alcohol. It's weird.
Living at home off of your parents does have its benefits. I get to drink beer at 11am!
I don't know if what I uploaded to Pownce is any of the bands I listed, though. You can find some of their songs on YouTube. It's good shit.
whoa.
