i've been growing my hair out in to dreads and i plan on becoming one of those rasta DJ's, i'm wondering what programs are out there to create electronic/techno music??

Reason 3 is awesome for computer generated audio, although rather complicated.

Cubase has some good VST's, and you can get other plugins too.

And Logic Pro is, in my opinion, then best for computer generated audio. There's so much it can offer, and the quality is really good.

If you just want mix stuff use virtualDJ, otherwise I'd suggest using FLstudio if you want to make your own music.

I reccomend Reason. I also recomend finding a DVD that has videos on how to use Reason I beleive it's called "Making Music with Reason" or something similar. Helped me tremendously.
