Ifantry only
No base kill
To give up crouch and throw your c4
No beacons
No killing prisoners
These are rules for most games some will have some extra rules like no mines.

C&R has evolved, but in a wrong way, before when it started, it used to be a mix of roleplay, normal CNC, and current CNR.
Nod team was police (because of the apaches and officiers)
and GDI was Rob team (because some characters look like thugs and they had seddans and humvees)
There was a whole system of court and jail, it was really great!
Now you might ask: how the hell do you know all that?
well, the awnser is simple: I helped my sister to create the first Cops And Robbers game. (meaning in Renegade, heh)
I suck cock and love it... absolutely love it. And I just got banned for being too immature to be allowed to post here.

Ok crimmy, Ill help you.
Both teams are the Cops and the Robbers. You run around shooting people, with, infantry only. If you are shot, but not killed, you *may* Crouch and throw your Timed C4 to "Give Up" or "Surrender".
When you Surrender, you follow the person who shot you and you surrendered to (without having a weapon drawn or they will kill you). If the enemy is GDI, they will lead you to Jail, which is the Barracks. If the enemy is Nod, they will lead you to the Airstrip, which is their jail.
In jail, you may not leave unles your allie comes to "save" you. basically they come in and shoot stuff, and you help them.
If you are fighting, and soemone surrenders, you *cant* kill them, or else they go cry to the host who boots you.
So basically, its Infantry only with a little tiwst.
And yes, as Dante said, the rules are often changed by noob hosts who suck.

OK, so if you go to jail, any of your teammates can come to the building and essentially that sets you free?
And the goal is most prisoners or most points??

most servers now encludes buggies and humvees and the prisoner is placed with c4 i think
