hi,
just got a new computer with vista (dont know if vista is the problem!)
but when i try to login to play online i get a message that says "login to xcc failed"
i have patch v1.037installed
and renguard with core patches 1&2 installed also.
AND i set game.exe, game2.exe, and renegade.exe in compatibility mode for XP SP2

any ideas? Sad

game.exe and game2.exe must be "run as administrator" also and if that does not solve it could you post a screenshot please.

i attached a sn in ms word, i havent bought any software that had ms paint yet...(its that new)

let me know if you cant view it.

"Invalid password" means your password is wrong (or someone already has that name).

Also, MS Paint comes with Windows.

well first off,
i didnt take the time to look through vista to find it lol
and
i forgot that renegade limits you to 8 characters in your password... away from my usual 10 char password for everything else...
