I get tired of looking at a low resolution R and trying to find decent sized ones without having to cut them out of another image. I created a 256x256 png file of the Renegade R, of course it doesn't look like the original, but for those who could use it, here you go:
I didn't really do a good job, but meh. Maybe I'll make improvements at a later time. I might make a high-resolution version (2048x2048) but I haven't decided yet.
August 13, 2011 Update
I was going to release the PSD and files originally back when I made this, but I don't have those files so I remade the R and am releasing these new files. It's not the best, but the community can do whatever with it.

You have to convert it to the ICO format. To be nice, I'll do it for you and post back.
And, I'm not sure if I can replicate the original Renegade "R", but I will try this weekend.

Ahem! I am not Dan.
WNxBoMbZU, but you'll want the ones I converted because the contain all the correct sized icons for Windows to select from when viewing  (So the icon doesn't blur/pixelate on different size views). Aside from that, Vista (if you use it) has a new ICO format. So, here ya go:

You can't make a scan a high resolution image that of high quality standards without very expensive scanning equipment.

Updated the original post with a new version of the R in slightly higher resolution, along with the PSD so the community can do whatever with it.
