I always think them tests are biased because they use games that are coded specifically for nVidia cards..

The ATi x1950 XT is the best DX9 card on the market anyway.

Presence is a curious thing, if you think you need to prove it... you probably never had it in the first place.

This is all pretty much prehistoric and useless tbh? If you want a mid-range performance card like the 7600 GT just get the new 9600 GT, it wipes the floor with anything ATI has available atm.

Haha right.

The 3800 series is slightly better than the 9600 either on performance and price.

The 9600 GT is like 120 euros and it is about as good as the 8800 GT which is 60 euros more....

And as for the performance of the 3800, the 9600 GT wipes the floor even with high end 1 GB versions of the 3850 and those are alot more expensive... And the 3870 might match it but is alot more expensive...

I just hope your not judging by "benchmark" tests.

No by gaming benchmarks. The radeon performs at about 80/70% off a 8800 GT while the 9600 GT is at 97/96%. That is in various games on various setings and resolutions based on the amount of FPS reached. Especially on the higher resolutions nVidia cards are much better. After all the amount of FPS you get at games is the primary reason to buy a new GFX card Wink.

Considering most games are designed and optimized around nVidia cards you can't really say it's "fair", and ATi have great technology for HD video formats, I don't think nVidia cards can give off a great HD video for movies as much as ATi cards can.

7 days ban for Renalpha. You were banned for 4 days already at the start of March for always going off topic, spamming and flaming.

You should know that after a first ban, which is a serious warning, you should be nice and behave. Instead you go back to your old habits. That's not a good idea.

I usuallym use price comparison sites that list multiple (web)shops Primarily tweakers.net (although this is specifically dutch). It does have some really cheap 3870's for about 120 euros but those are sapphire cards and I personally refuse to buy those. The proper cards start at 150 euros (ASUS and the like). The 9600 GT has some shitty ones for 110 euros but the good ones (XFX and the like) start at around 120.
