Considering that the game is targeted at the 17+ crowd, I really don't see your point.
I've found GTA to be rather entertaining in the past both as satire and a solid sandbox-type game, so I'm eager to see what Rockstar's come up with this time. Since I recently got a new- and much better- computer, I'm rather torn over whether to buy it for 360 when it comes out or to instead wait for the PC release...

Well, GTA storylines seem like the same thing... you're a guy, you do random shit for gangs, outrun cops, etc...
I 'spose trying to mix up the story that many times WOULD eventually make it sour and old.
I might get it later if I get an upgraded computer, seeing as how I don't have a 360 or PS3.

FFS, mine was brought last year, i.e. 2007.
Back on topic:
I like the open ended style of the game, but I've never actually played a GTA game before. Censorship laws also prevent me from buying it in my country...(should it be ported to the PC).

My PC was built this year, so I'll get it for that if anything. I'd prefer it on PC, but I don't have an XBox360 or Playstation 3 anyway.

I don't think it will take that long for the game to come out for the PC, no matter what Rockstar might say about exclusitivity.
The point is there's a huge market for the PC, and they'll make a lot of money with a PC port of the game.
As a GTA Junkie, I'll definitely buy it when it comes to PC
