I think its just compatibility. Oh and it automatically reads scripts from your Renegade directory.

With Jonwils' LE version, you don't have to copy the script dll files into your mod dir anymore and there is an option for exporting your stuff as a mix now.

Search the forums for Leveledit 1.0.0.5 because he listed more changes/fixes there as far as I remember.

I remember not likeing it because it would delete some stuff i dind't want deleted like all text files. I used them for bot drops n such.
