Yes, It fucking is.
Sound card
Speakers
Heck, the speakers have a volume control separate to the speakers, and it has a input for headphones and a microphone, <3 Creative & Logitech.
Presence is a curious thing, if you think you need to prove it... you probably never had it in the first place.

Hmm interesting, I been looking for a sound card for my PC for a long time, but not really fond of Creative, they had a really big fuck up with one of their cards and Vista drivers that didn't work then shit upon a community member who made his own drivers to fix the problem and told him to stop. :/

Ah what don't you like about scan, I never used them yet so I'm interested.
|
I ordered a graphics card from them, waited three weeks.. three weeks, only to tell me the manufacture couldn't supply, Three fucking weeks man, Too long to tell me they can't get a supply, Dabs get their stock in pretty fast, and I did a 1-3 business working day delivery, got me shit today (ordered yesterday) so man, Dabs gets my thumbs up.

To me sound is sound and the sound I have now is pretty clear through I do need speakers.

It's worth it for ancient motherboards such as the one in my server, but modern onboard sound cards are normally fine, and most motherboards come with like 6 Audio I/O ports you can retask, so unless you have serious professional audio needs, you'd be fine.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
Also, thanks for the random recommendations on places to buy from the UK, and UK only topic FTW!
Renguard is a wonderful initiative

Onboard audio is ok, But using custom sound cards is better for bass quality, you can also push out more sound and when you have a good set of speakers probably with a subwoofer it's pwnage.
Also, yes, UK only topics for the win!

My dads old stereo system from the late 80's still works, just like that, good sound quality, I might try and buy it from him, new sound card and rewire it.. and well.. you know, even more win.
|
Well, more win...
Would probably be good indeed. I also got some old "vintage" stuff.

My last post made me seem like this is a contest.. Didn't mean to come off as that, but yeah, old sound systems usually have great sound quality, with some new school technology the chances are win, and lots of it.
My brother has a £300 Technics stereo system (Bought in 2005/2006) and the sound it gave off was awesome, I just had to get a sub-woofer with two quality speakers and a good sound card, Technics are probably one of those brands that deliver all the time, can't beat their stereos.
