I agree, the original 40 player servers were amazing. Before cheats were around was the best. As for now I avoid any server that has modified shit or the points mod if I can. I just like the original game. Dropping weapons and some crates are ok but that's it.

quit skipping out on mass service to respond to internet flamewars, and i did make ILL lol, the actual AOW clan, i was ILLAsYlUm, you only made the sniper clan that anyone got in by default and were banned for cheating with final ren in public servers...nice life you lead having to make shit up on the INTERNET lol

On another note, Black-Cell had to be one of my favorites back in the day. Even when it was at the bottom of the listings, people kept coming because it was such a good place to play at. It wasn't overly modded with anything. It was just normal and was a good quality server.
N00bless, N00bstories, and Jelly are good servers but they have their ups and downs when it comes to moderation. But no one is perfect. It's practically near the same for any community. At least it isn't at a level where it's ridiculously bs.
MP-Gaming is another good community even though most of their publicity now revolves around games like CoD4 and RenAlert.
Black-Intel is probably good, but I can't really say since I've only played there twice but I found it rather fun for the time I've been there.
And of course, I love my own community, Mt0wn, despite it not having as many players as it use to last year.
Kamuix sucks because of the bugs and the horrible regulations and moderation staff. Some actually cheated but no action taken.
Gz0ne sucks because of the horrible mod staff.
Xphaze sucks for so many reasons.
That's my opinion, but it's really your choice and opinion of where you play at. If you don't like the server, just simply don't come back. Think to yourself, is it really worth the time to take bs while playing at a server you don't like.
