EA has confirmed that Tiberium, the hyped new FPS set in the C&C universe and considered by many as the successor for Renegade, will include a certain number of C&C Renegade elements.

One of them will be a stealth character which will be purchasable from the start of the game in a yet to be revealed game mode.

ZoneRunner, community manager of Tiberium:

The Stealth Black Hand is considered by many online gamers as a mysterious character. The idea of having a device making you invisible for the human eye intrigues a lot of persons. On popular demand, this character will be back in Tiberium's online play.

We hope to be able to give you more details on this announcement soon.

Actually I find it interesting that the SBH is invisiable to the enemy and netural people, and yet you team can see it.

If the SBH was given a infantry killing weapon, it would prove usefull, otherwise it's only half decent for planting beacons.

That's great....anyway I think the laser rifle repeals tanks becuase they take a steady flow of damage and then they sink away to reapair because they loose like 10 armour. X_X Also the pistol that they SBH carries is better as an infantry weapon killer.

I guess you underestimate the power of the pistol or either you do not know how to use it.

The laser is what makes him actually sucky, because it gives away the use of stealth. Giving it the silent Renegade pistol makes him silent and deadly.

I think the point hes making is a pistol unlike a laser rifle will not make half of gdi come running at you, where as a laser rifle is a very unique sound and often many will hear it and come to kill you.

Any type of firing with an sbh unclocks him. That includes loocking through a scope.
