Do any of the programmers here have, or know where to get any decent Objective-C programming tutorials/walkthroughs for someone who has no real programming experience what-so-ever?

Or anyone here who knows Objective-C and is willing to teach one on one (trooprm02 style)?

Reply here with links or contact info.

Thanks in advance,

Zion =^_^=

why are you trying to use Objective-C if you've had no experience programming?

Because i want to?

The iPhone SDK has recently been released and i want to see if i can make any programs with it.

I may not have any programming experience, but i know programming logistics (heck, i think of things 5-10 year programmers don't think of). It's not that i can't learn it, it's that i can't find anyone to teach it.

You're have more luck asking people around here to teach you C rather then ObjC. ObjC is mainly associated with Macs, and most people here are not Mac users. But it's strictly C based and just a superset of C really, you won't go too far wrong reading some C stuff if you cannot find any ObjectiveC tutorials.

Most programmers I know taught themselves what they know and are not big on teaching others. Especially if its someone who hasn't at least attempted to learn it themselves, a good programmer won't waste a minute on them. I gave you a link to a complete introductory tutorial on Objective-C on MSN that day, have you tried it? There are many resources on the net, and a simple Google search returned many introductory tutorials that are easy to follow along with.

It was when you were asking for help with your programming assignment I think it was, or whatever you were working on. You had also asked if I knew Objective-C, and I gave you a link to a introductory tutorial.
