Hi, I got XP and recently I thought of playing Renegade. I started to run it and nothing happened. I thought it was the CD-ROM because it was scratchy etc...
I bought a new Renegade CD-ROM and installed everything successfully, but now the same problem occurs.
When I insert the play disc the normal window comes up with play,uninstall, etc. When I press play I need to insert the first game disc, ok. When I do this and click continue I hear the CD-ROM drive searching but nothing happens :S.
please help me

Try manually installing core patch 2, as explained step 6 of this guide. It comes with a no cd patch so you don't need the cd to play the game anymore.
