Which version of renaguard should I use with windows ME? Because I installed it and then when I click on game1.exe it says "Unable to recieve a list from the master server"

I hate to be a serious prat, but buy XP.
In answer to your question, use the latest one from here.
Also, that error message is typically a sign that your firewall is blocking Renguard, ensure that both game.exe (Renguard) and game2.exe are allowed through any firewalls you may have.
Renguard is a wonderful initiative
