I've been running dual monitors for over a year now and theres quite a few things I've found annoying. I'm betting there's ways to fix them. I'm sure theres other tools out there aswell to use duals to their full potential.

What are you guys running? I know a bunch of people here are running dual if not triple monitors.

My Rants?
Age of Empires 2:
I open gamespy in one window and AOE2 in the other. When I want to chat in gamespy I have to minimize AOE2.

Toolbar:
Sometimes it's nice to have a longer toolbar at the bottom of the monitor. I could never get mine to stretch across both monitors.

For those that don't have dual monitors. Once you have them you won't want to go back. I use mine all the time. They get used a lot when I'm doing web development. Preview in one window source/editor in the other.

Here's my co-workers setup:

EDIT: That's a 30 inch widescreen, and a trio of widescreens turned vertically, a 24" flanked on each side by 19" ones.

From my limited experiments with multiple monitors, AOE2 doesn't work well with them anyway, sorry mate.

Renguard is a wonderful initiative

I see he's using a CLI, Maybe he's programming? Razz

Presence is a curious thing, if you think you need to prove it... you probably never had it in the first place.

Viva la Resistance!
That generation of Dell monitors is made of pure win. I know, I have a 19" one I bought 2 years ago for £200. It's the only piece of computer equipment I've never had a single problem with. I consider it perfect in every way! Now I just want another one to replace my 1994 13" CRT that takes up the other half of my desk.

Also, is that an apple keyboard? They're smaller than I thought. I want one!
