I disagree. I think that people who complain about it are the ones ruining it. If this happens, don't complain about it.. do something about it. The person at fault here is the wife, not the husband.
Is it really hard to pull out the internet cable? Is it really hard to uninstall it when he isn't looking?
No it isn't... but instead she has to go onto live TV and down talk it. Personally, I really hate WoW, but people who aren't gamers see that on TV and generalize it into every video game. If you are controlling some virtual elements in your TV, it is a bad thing.. that is what people get out of it.
If they wanted to make it even slightly more segregated, they could of at least said the type of game and from whom it was made by, but no, instead they just say "Popular video game." Lumping it into every other game out there.
It is this reason that new and better games will never come out in the future because of these people who complain enough and brain wash people with the wrong ideas and in turn they cause the gameing industry to dwindle.

Very nicely said instead of the usual "got no life."
I agree. One of my friends just likes this game and does not like to do anything else for entertainment and this even cuts into his academic life.
I was a lot like that...would return to dorm from class (instead of going to library and finishing the essay) to play Renegade. But then my laptop crashed (with all those in-game SS, logs, and custom skins ) and my Renegade life came to a halt for two months. I am glad for that accident as it stabilized my cravings and now I have some sense of self-control with Renegade.
NOTE: The only other game I play is Incoming and that too only if I feel like flying around in exotic alien craft (rarely).
