Can't run Renegade on IBM T23 Laptop S3 SuperSavage/IXC1014, can anyone help. Are there any new drivers or patches to fix this problem? The program starts but when you get to the main menu it goes back to the desktop and the program has closed. Any ideas?

Make shure that you have the vary latest video adapter driver installed for your computer. You can find it on the video adapter manufacturer's web site. Renegade is very, very picky about what video cards it will work with. I have seen this problem a number of times. I had to get rid of my Voodoo card becasue of it.

"Ren Sizzlefab" | Have you tried selecting all the lowest detail settings etc. in the Renegade config, or tried running it in windowed mode? 16MB is the lowest spec for a 3D accelerator, so try selecting 800x600, 16-bit colour, lowest detail.

I have the latest video driver, I configured Renegade to run at 800x600 16bit and lowest detail and still the same thing happens, and tried windowed mode with no luck. Going to try DirectX 9 and see if that helps, hope it doesn't hurt. Any more ideas would be great. Thanks guys
