Looking across the EA online store, I decided I'd buy/download Tiberium Wars. I've played the demo and have been itching to buy it for the absolute longest time, but put it off becuase I've been building a new PC. Now that I have it, I need games! I've already made up my mind to download it since my next week or two are a little busy and I may not get to drop by a store, and would rather get it now than order it and wait anyway.

Anyway, my question isn't whether or not I should buy it this way. My question is, should I also get the Kane's Wrath expansion with it? Note that I play these games mostly for skirmish/campaign (I know, I heard the campaign isn't the best), and not mostly online, but will try online a bit. Anyone try Kane's Wrath? Is it good? What does it add? Sorry for all the questions, but I just want to know if it's worth the extra $30 on top of the $60 for Tiberium Wars.

Edit: DOH! It's pre-release. Nevermind. I heard this and that and thought it was out already.

For the love of god don't use EA-Link (EA's Game Download Manager) that thing sucks so hard.

Buy it from a Game shop!

Presence is a curious thing, if you think you need to prove it... you probably never had it in the first place.

Yeah, I've never used it before, so right after posting this I went and did a little searching/research. Turns out it's crap. You only get to download it for six months, unless you buy an extension for two years that they shove in your face trying to get you to buy, and you need to be connected to their service to play. On top of that, there's alot of complaints of the downloads not working, keys being sent weeks/months later, or EA just stealing your money. There's too many restrictions, and with the physical copy on hand, they can't screw you over. I'll just try and stop by Best Buy or something and get it sometime.

When Kane's Wrath comes out, buy C&C3 Limited Edition.

It is a bundle pack with both games. The reason I say to buy it, is because if you buy it when it comes out, you get a Beta ticket for testing RA3 beta.

That goes with regular Kane's Wrath as well. But yeah, it would be cheaper to buy the limited pack than to buy them separately.

Doesn't the Beta ticket for RA3 come only with the Pre-order package?
