PlanetSide is a game that appeals to a lot of Renegade players. It's an MMOFPS in which three empires struggle for control of mutliple "continents" each of which contain multiple bases that must be captured and held. In terms of teamwork oriented gameplay, PlanetSide has all other games beat. In a nutshell, I would say it's very much like other FPS games, but with the strategy of an RTS, and the size of an RPG.

But now to get on to the point of my post. n00bstories has obtained a batch of 30-day PlanetSide trial keys. Unlike the former reserves trial program, or current 14-day trial system, these keys allow unlimited access to all elements of the game for 30 days. No Battle Rank or Command Rank caps are in place with these trials, and no credit card is required.
Each week n00bstories will be raffling away several keys to anyone who purchases tickets using the "n00bdollar" currency on the site, which can be earned in various ways. Tomorrow we will be giving away 3 keys, and depending on the interest it generates, perhaps more in the following weeks.
The raffle page can be found here:

Whether you are burnt out on Renegade as I became, or just want to try a new interesting game, PlanetSide is deffinitely worth a try. It is by far one of the most interesting concepts ever developed in a video game, and anyone who has tried this game for more than 10 minutes will tell you the same. For those who do decide to try the game, my main character's name is "Espion41" and I play the Vanu Sovereignty empire on Emerald, just look me up and I'll gladly take a few minutes to show you around the game.

The n00b dollars are fake moneys. So, spend fake monies for a chance to get to play a game online for a month that will have to pay real money for if you want to continue playing afterwards.

For those that have tried it an got bored of it after a couple days, you most likely didn't get involved in an outfit, and therefore didn't get the whole game experience. PlanetSide offers a level of teamplay not possible in ANY other game available, mostly through outfits and outfit alliances, but sometimes empire-wide as well.
For example, here are some pictures of an armor raid my outfit did just last night:

At times we had over 25 tanks on the battlefield with air cover, anti-air support, and a repair/rearming station. Other times we had around 12 2-man main battle tanks, or 11 3-man bombing aircraft, or 20 artillery units shelling a base from over a kilometer away. The artillery also had anti-air support, and cloakers closer to the base "lazer-pointing" out targets for us to hit.
You just can't, and won't see anything like that in any other game. It is well worth my $15.
