Hey, just re-installed Renguard onto my vista laptop. I had been getting error 00000005 for awhile but I fixed it by running both Renegade and X-Fire as admin. Now I can get into games the only problem is any time I join a game through X-Fire(my Gamespy is currently telling me I'm missing an operator whenever I click the renegade area)it says I am Unnamed as well as not running Renguard.
Is there any known problem here, or solution? Cause I know I'm running renguard and I have the latest black hand patch but it still states whenever I join that "[Unamed] You are not running Renguard, please download from www.renguard.com" What do I do?

Do you run both game.exe and game2.exe in admin mode (and possibly xp sp2 compatibility)? Renguard needs to save your nick to the register, so needs admin rights.
You can find me in The KOSs2 (TK2) discord while I'm playing. Feel free to come and say hi! TK2 discord

I'm not sure, I think only with game.exe. I'm not even sure what game2.exe is. And where/how would I save my nickname to rengaurd. I've never used it with X-Fire before, only gamespy(which is currently being very stubborn about the missing operator.)

When you've installed RenGuard, game.exe is Renguard anti-cheat, game2.exe is the game itself, this way your old shortcuts work.
Renguard is a wonderful initiative
