There are many,many, FLAMED out topics
I noticed the main people doing this are : ACK,boatbomber,havocman,Sir Phoenixx

It all started with ack and his negitivity.He can never be positive about any mod or model thats not his making.

There are many more than just that(just search for posts by ack and you'll find them)
there is way to much hatred among theese forums, and you wonder why renegade is dieing?You people are running off all the new users who want to learn and enjoy the game.But instead of help you reply to post with spelling and grammical corrections and "n00b".
I quit because of this exact reason i come back a year later and see things are the same old way

well fine. Maybe, alot of people have been Unezy now. i know i have. a map we have been working on has been EXTREMLY Pre-matured Released. It's conditon was Horable. so that got me pissed of. Cus he never said he was gonna release it. Ack is just Pointing out stuff. K. later.

i can understand somthing like "BTW you misspelled somthing"

Lol... You're kidding right? Find more than one (or at least one) thread in which I STARTED flaming or attacking anyone. Simple involvment where I'm replying to someone else who is attacking or flaming me doesn't count [edit: defending someone in a thread doesn't count either].
That topic was turned personal by you, and the flaming was started by CaptKurt. Find the topic "Back to Topic", read that. The only thing ACK did was express his opinion that there are already alot of tutorial sites and it would be almost pointless to make more, everyone automatically jumped him for posting in that thread, it wouldn't matter what he posted.
Are you serious? Have you even read ACK's replies to that thread? Have you even read anything in that thread? CaptKurt posted that thread to mainly discredit and blame a "flame war" that he himself started on ACK.
lol... You obviously have no idea what a flame war is. Correcting someone's grammar and spelling do not equate to a "flame war".

If he had said that within the last year (There was like 40 pages, than the forums were cleaned and it went down to around 10) or so on the old forums it would still be on these forums. Remember, they transfered all of several of the forums to these forums a while ago.
And just because he was correcting grammar and spelling more harshly on the old forums, still doesn't equate to flaming.

Y'know, this is the same reason I quit too. Today someone asked me to come back. He said things have improved much, people are more friendly. now that I'm here visiting again I've realised nothing has changed and after reading some 30 threads around this forum I still dont wanna be here. It's not worth trying to mod Renegade for most of these ungratful little brats.
Keep it up guys, the community will be dead within the year.
What you need to learn to do is to stop flaming left, right and center. If someone makes somthing constructive for Renegade, even if they're just starting out, dont great it with "oh that looks shit" or "that's crap, you're a n00b aint ya". If ya keep going like that people just wont bother trying and you will have no new maps or mods and thats it. Dead Renegade.
Instead try suggesting improvments to the persons projects. The best examples I've seen were posted by Dante, for example:

One last thing I must say, stop flaming people because of their online grammar!! People make mistakes, people speek other languages, people may be 8 years old or may not have l337 7Yp1n6 5k1LL5 or whatever, DONT FLAME THEM FOR IT! It makes them feel bad and they probably wont come back! Moderators have a duty to keep posts like this off the forums!

Dont get me wrong, I'm not flaming whoever moderates (if anyone does) these forums, but a little moderation of this place would improve it in an unprecidented scale. Moderators have the power to stop arguments when they're just starting by locking threads, or making the place better by deleting arguments that have taken place. A forum this size would take 1 moderator no more than half an hour each day to keep "clean and tidy".
Well, that is all. I can only hope someone with power notices this post and starts to improve this place instead of this post just disappearing into oblivion. It wont take much to make this forum a nice one to visit. But if it stays as it is, it's not the place I would wanna visit again. sorry.

Shows how much you know. I helped lots of people and I still do. Just because I released just 1 map (bet you didn't know about that, I wonder if it's still on cnchq.de after all this time...) doesn't mean I did nothing.
I guess your post just goes to prove another point. People can be helpfull in a community, not just release as much stuff as poss, but you wouldn't know that.
