Theres a sound from call of duty I wannt replace as my apc gun sound.....but idk how to get a hold of the sound...so is there a software that can record high quality what ever comes out of my pc?
so i can play the game and turn it on then recrods what ever my pc gives out so i can save the sound of the gun?

There should be a file like a .dat file or .gcf or some other file type that contains otherfiles, locate this.
Once you've found it, goto FileXT and type the extention name into it.
Scroll through the list of possible formats and find the one appropiet for the file, if there are programs to open these files, it should be listed or linked here.
