Hi,

I've just installed C&c renegade on my computer and when I play,
I obviously notice an anoyng problem is going on:

Some sounds go off in-game with an anoying loud noise.
This happens when I reload my gun or when I brake while driving a humvee.

In the mission where Havoc steals a hovercraft and walks on the island and meets captain Duncan, the sound continious all the time. You hear the normal sounds tou including the music but the anoying loud noise goes off constantly.
It looks like it comes from an angle on the map, to compare...

I've already geinstalled, tried a headphone or turned off the music. No results...

Can you please help me with this problem?
I use windows home, got 2 gb ram, dual core pr. , video card around 700 mb, ...

Does it sound like the noise from the C 130 plane on nod??? That happens sometimes to me. I think it is a bug, try patching it and using the latest scripts. Or just restart the game....

The reason Uranus is tilted 90 degrees is because god got angry and kicked it over.....

No the sound is not to compare with any sound in the game.
It's obviously a bug in the game on my computer, the sound is like a bee - only louder , higher in tone and more soft. It's very anoying and it happends when i Reload the weapon. -

I'm not quite sure what sound card I have if that matters...

PLease help me on this.

Go to options and then configuration. Try using a different audio driver if you have another.

I'll try in a second.
Just in case: I havn't installed patches yet. I installed the first decade on my new computer and every game works perfectly only renegade has this anoying problem.
I'l tell you more after i have tried other audio drivers...

It's solved.
There were 4 sound drivers. I selected the 4th and now the sound is normal again. Ty for helping.
