Hello,

I am looking for decent RTS games that are set in space. It necessarily does not have to be old or the newest RTS...anything where the setting (maps) are in space and other planets.

It could also be a economy/space trading-civilization game. If it has units and factions, then great. If not, still ok.

I am searching for some titles like that. But if anyone knows a game(s) like that or played something like that, please tell me.

Or, failing that, one of those Star Wars games where you build fleets and shit. I don't know what it's called, but I've seen some people play it in internet cafes and such.

Probably Star Wars: Empire at war. It's good. And the expansion to it is Forces of Corruption.

Starcraft is alright but I still prefer C&C over it but Starcraft is still fun and really to Me the best(and only lol Blush ) RTS that I have played set in space.

its been like 8 years sense they came out with starcraft brood war now their making starcraft 2!!! Rocked Over http://www.starcraft2.com/ their still fixing/adding units and not all of them are there yet but their working on it

StarCraft is INCREDIBLE. If you've only played the demo, go pick up the full thing and Brood War too. The demo (Like all demos) kind of sucks, but the full game is amazing.

StarCraft II comes out 10/1/08. I know because I preordered it last summer. Very Happy

@ Dover:

The demo was pretty awesome I thought. Also, one of the guys that appeared on the hud looks like the one in your avatar!

I like the nice units and voice-overs. What I like about the maps (in the demo) were that it is kind of interactive: your units can enter rooms by unlocking doors and even climb stairs!

Anyway, I think it is a great game I got to pick up. So then, I maybe ready when Starcraft 2 comes out right on my birthday ROFL!

I am thinking of getting Homeworld too. Looks awesome.

Yeah Star craft is great. Some of the later Brood War missions get really difficult. The nice thing about Star Craft 2 is it looks as though it won't require some super computer in order to run.
