I was going to say the same thing, but this topic is most likely going to explode with flame.

Honestly. People usually don't pray when this stuff happens, or atleast that's what I know.

Thanks but no Plecos please! And while I won't deny that this is an "attack on religion," those who think this is just another "attack" are clearly missing the point.

No. Fuck you. BRING ON THE PLECOS!

How are we devoid of common sense? You just started a topic openly attacking religion for fucks sake, you really don't expect a flamefest?

Openly "attacking" religion? No, there was a lengthy commonsense logic attached to it. And I did not do it "for fucks sake."

Sure, I expected a "flamefest" but not the instant outpouring of stupidity.

You missed the point completely.

I didn't miss the point man, but this is RenForums, do you honestly expect rationality? All I'm saying is that this wasn't the best idea in the first place, and would have probably ended up in the spam fest once the flame started, and would be overrun with spam.

Thanks to the newly created Spam subforum and the recent "PLECOS victory," ignorance levels have massively increased within the past month.

There was a time (just a few months ago) when such topics would instantly be logically scrutinized and appropriate responses posted by positively contributing members.

Just take a look at similar topics created in the Heated Discussions in the past. You will be surprised. It amazes me that this forum no longer has that many good members left. Well, I can't expect anymore from a place that is dying but this is a new low. I am not disappointed but that is the reality.

The Spam Fest probably wasn't a good idea, but at least at this point you don't see every topic spammed with plecos and other random shit.

The ignorance from that section carries on here. It's about one's attitude. Look at Dover's post. They got lots of experience now. They don't like a topic? Hey no problem, let's just threadshit and call for "PLECOS".

If you open up a whorehouse in the middle of an already unstable neighborhood, soon enough, you will see the whole neighborhood turn into one big whorehouse.

I called for Plecos for a reason. That reason being this is a shitty thread.

You're right in what you say, (At least, I agree with you), but honestly, what were you expecting? To convert people? What's the idea behind this thread? And in all places, in General Discussion? What the hell were you hoping to accomplish? Your original post was nothing but a powder keg. Nothing could have resulted from it but a flamefest. It's these kinds of situations where threads must be killed, and in the past one very effective thread-killer has been Plecos spam.

Speaking of which, I'M NOT SEEING ANY PLECOS!
