Lately, I've been having crashes, and we (some of my IRC buddies) came to think it was because of Xfire. However, when I 1st started, it was fine. So, I got this crazy idea to reinstall Renegade. Copied all my skins, and maps, and reinstalled it. Deleted everything after it was done uninstalling.
After I installed it again, it was working fine (I never put my skins and maps back in yet, along with my scripts). So I played a mission, and it was still fine. I go to play online, and I have to download the patch, which is nothing new. I do that, restart Renegade, and now when I click on the icon, it comes up with a black screen. This cannot be alt-tabbed out of, can't be ctrl-alt-deleted out of, and the only way to get rid of it is to reboot my computer. Along with this, there is my Fraps FPS number in the top left corner, which always stays on two, and never moves from that number. Any solutions to this?
