What do you guys think of files that when you run them, open a web page or open a .txt file after it's installed the contents of the file.

Do you hate it, alright with it or don't mind at all?

Yeah, I understand how you feel, I hate it myself, but it was included and done like that because someone complained about their file being hosted even though we gave them full credits and everything. O.O

Well, any new files that will be added, will not open any new windows when you run the file, the old files will be re-done one day.

Usually it's when I uninstall something, they give me a popup that can't close asking "WHY ARE YOU UNINSTALLING OUR SOFTWARE?!"

I hate software that when you go to uninstall it, you get like 6 webpages of crap that is somewhat related to the software.

Things like surveys asking questions like did you find the product useful or why did you uninstall our product? Also websites with programs of the same function. "Didn't like our product? Why not try this one instead?"

That's one thing I like about my iMac, if I want to get rid of an application, I just throw it in the trash (though many apps leave some preferences behind, but oh well).

Well, there is a program that you can download to uninstall apps and make sure no traces are left behind. I don't remember what it is called.. my friend uses it.
