I just noticed that messages I made a while ago earlier in the day still can be edited!

I am glad the MUCH HATED 30 minute time limit has been destroyed. Anyway, what's the new time limit?

Or am I seeing things? It's 12:56 AM in my place!

Bah...goodnight. Rocked Over Rocked Over Rocked Over Rocked Over Rocked Over

EDIT: OMG! I just noticed there seems to be NO TIME LIMIT! YAY! Goodnight!

Yeah, that time limit was really unnecessary; useless "Nazi" feature.

Why do forums even have that as an option?

God forbid I correct a spelling mistake 31 min after I post. Neutral

The next thing that needs to be removed is the "this post was edited at what so time", don't really that option, should be a option not forced.

I wholeheartedly disagree with that. Admins already have the power to invisibly edit any user's post (such as this one that I had reported before the edit: post), and there's no good reason to allow moderators access to that ability. The next time there's a 20-page renedrama, it would be horrible if posts contained things that the actual poster never said, and then the threads were locked before that poster could defend him/herself. Leave the timestamps on.

What.

I never said anything about having moderators.

I just want that option gone, I hate editing my posts and having that time stamp on. makes you look like a idiot.

I kinda agree with you, Iron. But it does not bother me that much as the edit time limit did.

It bothers me too. I like to edit posts like 30 billion times after I post it within the next 5 min, hopefully before anyone else sees. When that little "updated" thing pops up on the bottom it just gives me a weird feeling of "aww many they gunna know I updated"

I even find my self editing my own posts days upon days after they where posted. Fixing simple things like spelling and grammar, and some sentences that make no sense.

But it really doesn't matter, I can live with it.

I can see where you're coming from, but if that annoys you just add something like:

Edit - Spelling

Think clearly, make sure you know what the argument (or information) is about, and post with confidence.

This is what I do and the only thing I get wrong sometimes is typos. And that too very rare.

The timestamp does not even bother me in that regard.

Also, if you were to add something you forgot to write before, then you can add "EDIT:" and then write what you left out.

Well the posts that I make do make sense. But I often go back to add in something like an example or something I think of later after I post.

The only reason why I don't want people to see is because many times people read what I type, and never go back to it. So that means I need to waste another post telling people that I edited my above post.

I end up editing most of my subject topics about ten times after I posted them.

You have a good point. Eitherway, a lot of people use the forum by reading the information without posting anything. So, it benefits them in the long-run.

This forum has lots of people who use it but not all of them post regularly everyday like you and me. Sneaky

That's odd, I thought all admins/mods are gone? Judging by the lack of moderation here, at least.
