I'm looking for the cursors of C&C Generals to use instead of my default Windows ones.

The directory they should be in, i cannot remember properly, but i want the whole folder called "Cursors" zipped and sent to me if anyone would be so kind.

Not sure. Try the larger or more general purpose files first (those game's equvilant of always.dat, spelling's gone today)

How could I convert it to a gif? Irfan view can view it but not save it.

Maybe, but you can't use .gif files as cursors.

Only .ani or .cur files as cursors.

Yes, but you can convert .gifs to .anis (and .icos for that matter)
