Renegade Installation Problem [message #305255]

Hi,

I had been searching for my Renegade game for quite a while and when I eventually find it, the installation decides to screw up Sad

Sad

I have installed the game on this machine in the past with no problems I'm on now with no problems at all.

The installation process starts with no problems but when the bar gets to around 30%, on the always.dat file an error appears stating that there is a problem, and to insert the renegade disk.

The disk is scratched which leads me to believe that is probably the problem, so now I'm without.

Anyone any ideas on what I can do?

- OS: Windows XP

If you own a legal serial, PM "oblivion" for an ISO of Renegade CD1.

...or simply copy that scratched version onto a clean one. Normally works.
