My G5 doesn't give me these problems. It does have a problem with one of the key assignments. The left key is set to close windows for me, except in renegade, which it doesn icely but then it seems to stuck the alt-key sometimes. I supposet hat's a software problem.
Did you try putting the logitech setpoint software off and playing then? U never know...

Yeah, I may try that, as I've had that problem for awhile, as well as always hearing that Logitech's SetPoint sucks.
P.S. I have the exact same mouse as the topic starter, by the way.

well i uninstalled the software that came with this and so far it seems to be working properly. I'll have to give it a good testing over the weekend see what happens. If it doesnt fix it Ill go with another brand and return this one.

Seems we all have problems with this mouse or similar ones.
I downloaded the latest drivers and it helped for about a year. Still wasnt too happy. It turns out that for me, it was a new mouse mat that I needed.
After using one of the latest gaming mats (looks almost like neoprene)the wireless laser mouse works a treat.
IMHO, find an download the proper drivers and never update them therafter until you have any problems.
