Do you think there is a life after death? Or do you think you ~spiritually~ live on after you die? Do you think there is a heaven/hell?
What do YOU want to happen after you die?
Personally, I don't want a life after death. I just want to die, and then be out of it for ever. Sort of like how you feel when your sleeping, except there aren't dreams and you have no connections to living, just non-existent you.
I also don't want to go to either heaven nor hell, because that requires you to live immortally for ever. Looking at hell as the worst case scenario being that you feel nothing but pain for ever until the end of time, but heaven is also pretty bad because everything is perfect and probably nothing exciting happens ever until the end of time...
So basically, I just want to be done and over with...
How about your feelings?

I've always believed that the universe will die and a new universe will be born. I don't know if they will be exactly the same. I'm sure everyone can remember their very first memories, well i think dieing is like being knocked out and as soon as you wake up you're living through your (different) first memories again.
"What do YOU want to happen after you die?"
The above.

Yeah, that is true, universe's are just like an human body with cells, they die and more are made, same with our life, when our bodys die, our life force or soul will be born in an new being.

Eternal darkness.

You're unwittingly implying you will still have a consciousness to experience the darkness.
If "once you die, that's it" then surely you would not experience anything, not "darkness". You would simply cease.

Wouldn't dying be like...sleeping? Well, sleeping (not dreaming) feels weird, since so much time passed, yet you felt so less time.

Eternal Darkness is a figure of speech, No one knows what happens after you die, But I don't believe in a heaven or hell because that's already on earth.
Presence is a curious thing, if you think you need to prove it... you probably never had it in the first place.

It's kind of funny how most of the posters are posting 'definite' responses, as if they are so sure they're right. Which one of you has died and returned to tell us what happened? It'd make you all a lot more rational if you said "I think" or "I believe" rather than giving definite responses.

I believe I cease to exist and my mortal flesh becomes worm food, but my goal is to live forever. I also hope that there is reincarnation, but I also hope that in reincarnation, you do in fact come back as a human/equivalent being and not something intellectually lesser like a fish or a duck.
I'm the bawss.
