TheGunrun wrote on Tue, 20 November 2007 18:48 | Holy Shit guys, It's been four fucking years already. I'm currently a senior right now and working on my college applications.
My sophomore year I got a girlfriend. We went out for four months.
My academics have been ok. Haven't failed any classes but didn't get straight A's either.
I got involved heavily in the music programs participating in the marching band and choirs, and also did 3 musicals.
Some Tips for guys in high school right now, get in your college recommendations early, struggling to get my applications done has been pure hell. Also, when ever you get to pick people for lab groups in AP Physics, choose wisely.
To end this epic bump, I would like to hear your tips for college.

I don't mean to be negative but I've got to agree with sadukar, none of those people are around anymore.

When he posted this, I was just out of high school. I am one of the few people that when they say, "I won't miss high school," they are telling the truth. Most people do end up missing it, but not me. I'm glad to be out of high school. I like being reliant on myself, though I rarely take it upon myself to do well in courses.
The biggest differences between HS and College/University is the atmosphere with so many other people, the teachers don't care about you. You're paying them, and that's all they care about, and the other thing is that you're responsible for yourself. As I said, teachers aren't going to hover over you. You'll have nobody to blame but yourself.
whoa.
