Ive posted this on the technical help but noone helped me. As soon as I enter a multiplayer game it says CD authentication failed. Please quit. Then i get to play for about 40 seconds and then it kicks me out. My system requirments are fine. I do have the right cd in(disk 2 data disk). And i am using the patch 1.037. what is the problem?

Well, you can always try the debugger...Which is on the westwood FTP, but I can't seem to find it :/

It means your CD key is being used by another player online. This happens if you don't own a legal copy of the game or your trying to use it on more than one machine at once I.E. your sharing the CD Key. The only way around it is to get a new CD key. EA were offering a replacement CD and Key for around $5 but I don't know what the current situation is now because they announced there stopping support for the game. Best option is to get a new copy of the game. In the UK it costs under £10 and i would expect that in other countries too. Thats the only way around it.
