I want a program to do internal soundcard routing.

I want my audio output internally routed to my audio input, without the jack-to-jack externally routing line signals.

Soundcard is Sigmatel, inside a MacBook Pro.

Has a built in mic, a line in, and line out.

I'm sure there has to be an app out there that does this, so get searching!

So, you want to make a connection between line in and line out? What for?

The external cable is the easiest way, I think.

I want to do it so i can stream music (though my line out) over the microphone stream, for Teamspeak or SLVoice etc.

I know adding the cable is easiest way, but doing that i can't hear my output, since there's only one line out (yes there are speakers but they're disabled if 'lineout = TRUE;').

I done it with my Creative Audigy Soundblaster 4 soundcard in my... the families main system but thats designed to do something like that, and has the app already with the drivers.

There was a setting in the Windows Audio Mixer window under the "Recording" section which would enable me to set the microphone to Wave, which would route my Wave output to my mic input, and act as a microphone. So basicly the Wave out was acting as a microphone, streaming what it gave over the web using the apps named above.

Wouldnt it be easier to select the line out as the input for teamspeak?

Usually you can also find the option to set the input to the output under the sound options in the Control Panel.

Not possible. The options i have is either "Built-in Microphone" or "SigmaTel Audio", which are pretty much exactly the same.

Again, not possible. This time it only lists hardware, which is "SigmaTel Audio" for everything besides the MIDI Wavetables, which can be changed.

Hence the reasoning to me asking for an app, or driver to override this.

Heh, I know what you're talking about. I have the same issue. It wasn't important, so I didn't bother for very long trying to fix it. Let me know if you get a solution.

The key is just really selecting the input to Teamspeak, but as you said, you dont get much of an option. I know how to set that up so it works with Windows, but I'm not sure if you get the same mixer panel with Mac, so can't help.

If you don't want EA to get any credit, destroy their Refinery. Duh.

Plug a headphone jack into a microphone jack and make it so that it will always come out of the microphone jack, I.E. sound comes out of the line out and microphone jack at the same time.

@SlikRik - I'm on Windows.

@rm5248 - I said doing that wasn't an option, twice already.

Thanks for the suggestions though.

Sorry, that doesn't make sence.

Yes, it's a MacBook Pro running Windows XP Pro under Bootcamp.
