Sad situation? I don't agree with being 17 and a father, but having a child isn't a "sad situation". If you're looking forward to having a kid, it's a great time. Sure, he may not be ready for it, and I do feel somewhat bad for the kid based on what I know about 17 year olds raising kids. Who knows, he may be ready. Generally, though, I can't believe he is. Still... a child birth is a wonderful thing.

1)Don't take this personal, but it's not fair to this child for you to be having him at such a young age. Your 17, do you have a job? Do you live by yourself? Are your gonna drop out of school? Have your parents disowned you yet? Has the mother's life been fucked over already? Tons of negatives, the child doesn't have a say in this, and COULD potentially suffer the rest of its life because of your mistakes.
